The 13-Week Journey

A structured, four-phase healing path grounded in the weekly themes of Shelter From The Storm.

Phase 1: Introduction & Creating Safety (Weeks 1–3)

Shelter From The Storm is clear: true healing requires a foundation of absolute safety. Before diving into your story, we focus entirely on helping you feel secure emotionally, physically, and relationally.

Week 1: Foundations of Safety

Establishing group trust, boundaries, and initial grounding tools.

Week 2: Understanding Trauma

Exploring how abuse affects your mind and body so your responses finally make sense.

Week 3: Personal Stability

Creating your personal safety plan and building dependable support structures.

Key Tools & Practical Support

Phase 1 taught me how to bring myself back to the present moment. For the first time in years, I felt safe in my own skin.

Facing the Truth & Healing the Heart (Weeks 4–7)

Honoring Your Story

Inspired by Shelter From The Storm, this phase is a gentle space to face the reality of your past without minimizing your pain. Together, we step out of isolation to safely process your grief, dismantle unearned shame, and rebuild your boundaries."

The 4-Week Journey

Week 4 (Boundaries):

Reclaiming your personal space and learning to say 'no' safely.

Week 5 (Shame to Compassion): 

Shifting the heavy burden of shame off your shoulders and building self-love.

Week 6 (Grief & Loss):

Honoring your losses the innocence, trust, and time stolen because grief is where healing blooms.

Week 7 (Rebuilding Trust): 

Learning how to safely open your heart and build healthy, secure relationships again.

Phase 3: Reclaiming Power & Reframing (Weeks 8–10)

Reclaiming Your True Identity

Inspired by Shelter From The Storm, this phase is where we shift from survival to true strength. You will begin to see that the abuse is a part of your history, but it does not define who you are. Together, we move from the identity of a victim to that of a thriver."

Week 8 (Personal Power): 

Taking back the control that was stolen, through small and intentional choices.

Week 9 (Body Connection):

Reconnecting with your body through gentle somatic practices to rebuild inner safety.

Week 10 (Finding Your Voice):

Breaking the silence by safely speaking your truth within our secure circle.

Freedom, Purpose & Celebration (Weeks 11–13)

Stepping Into Your Power 

Inspired by the final steps of Shelter From The Storm, this phase is about reclaiming your future. We help you shift your energy away from past pain and redirect it toward your dreams, your values, and the meaningful life you deserve to live."

Week 11 (Releasing the Hold):

Understanding that forgiveness is not excusing the abuser; it is a tool to set your own heart free from their grip.

Week 12 (Finding Purpose):

Transforming your survival into strength and defining what you want your future to look like.

Week 13 (Honoring Your Growth):

Celebrating how far you’ve come, honoring the resilient person you are today, and stepping forward with hope.
